ARC STRIKES A PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN PAST AND FUTURE, TRADITION AND INNOVATION.

Our design’s duality gives a nod to the future of inner-city living and working. Inspired by the brickwork in the neighbouring buildings and the masonry character of heritage landmarks, Arc meets its brief of creating a mixed-use building that relates to the past, with a towering structure that embraces the future.

“IMAGINE A CITY WHERE PEOPLE CAN ESCAPE TO THE ROOFTOP, WHERE THE ARCHITECTURE FACILITATES SOCIAL INTERACTION AND THE REIMAGINING OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT” KOICHI TAKADA

On designing Arc, Takada added that it was all about “creating a wow factor”, this approach informing his distinctive duality and underscoring the extraordinary nature of this architectural masterpiece.

The 26-storey tower consists of 135 apartments, 86 boutique hotel rooms and eight retail and food outlets. The building’s luxurious apartments feature amenities including a spa, gym, and reflection pool, as well as a courtyard on the penthouse level. The decision to create a rooftop space for public amenity instead of private apartments came from a desire to foster a sense of community for residents.
